I love uncovering and telling stories. As a designer I work with clients to help tell their story, whether through a logo, print media, or a website--I have found there are many ways to be heard.
I Worked as the lead UX designer to develop a lightweight Weather Channel that quickly allows the user to view current forecast, hourly conditions, and extended forecast. Features include a current conditions info panel with a background image and icon that changes depending on the condition, a swipe and flick 24 hour slider, and the extended 10-day forecast.
I collaborated with the design lead, program manager, and development team, to create the MSN Location Management feature, a site wide feature that enables the user to filter results based on their preferred location. My main role was to develop the visual elements taking into consideration specific user needs and scenarios.
